Arkuos is a socio-educational space where children, teenagers and young people can create, experiment and learn. The centre brings together activities and projects with guidance and mentorship across different equipped working districts.
The challenge
The identity needed to work across different ages, activities and formats. A physical space, a programme announcement and a learning material each have their own information requirements, yet all need to be recognisable as parts of the same project. The challenge was to establish a common foundation that could organise the whole and accommodate new initiatives. The variety of working districts was part of the context the system needed to communicate.
The idea
The response starts with a modular visual language. The brand can be applied in ways that identify and connect different parts of the centre. Shared rules create continuity while leaving each piece room to communicate its own content. This approach fits an environment for creation and learning: the system establishes a recognisable framework in which different activities and forms of participation can coexist without losing their connection to the overall identity.
The system in use
The project addresses brand application, communication pieces and a shared visual language. The identity considers the physical space, programme communication, learning materials and digital touchpoints. Information hierarchy serves a practical purpose: distinguishing activities and content while maintaining their relationship to the wider project. The portfolio images show different expressions of the system and how the brand connects with its applications. Those relationships make the identity a working framework for communication.
The outcome
The documented result is a modular brand application system for a socio-educational environment. It gives communication shared criteria and represents the districts as parts of one project. The case illustrates how graphic design can organise an initiative with varied touchpoints: recognition comes from continuity across pieces, the presentation of information and the relationships between applications. The portfolio brings these expressions together to show the scope and consistency of the visual system.
